I think that this photo was taken in 1963. I was playing first horn and sitting next to Bob Howard. I was 18 at the time. Since then I have played with Rushden Windmill and more recently with Rushden Town. I had to stop playing last year due to suffering from tinnitus. I learned to play aged 11 at Netteswell School in Harlow, so have played on and off for 55 years!!
